Today marks the end of an era. We converted the crib to a bed. I'm sure I'll be happy about it someday (probably not), but right now it kills me we no longer have a "baby" in our house. Chase was so excited to have his bed today. He took a nap (played a while, then fell asleep). The girls love his bed. And so does he. He's sleeping now so hopefully it stays that way tonight. Bye crib. Thank you for the best 8 years.

Kate's 8th birthday party
We celebrated Kate's birthday party this weekend, a little early, with a sleepover party! It was our first one and we all survived. Kate had 6 friends over. We started out with pizza, then make your own sundae bar & cupcakes & singing to the birthday girl. Then we decorated pillow cases. Next we got in our Jammies & headed down to the basement for a movie- complete with movie theater candy to choose from & popcorn. Just like at the movie! The girls had a blast & finally settled down. Brynn and I had a sleepover on the main floor.
Chase's 1st dentist appointment
Chase went to the dentist for the 1st time on Jan 19. We all went, actually. He did great! He even let them clean all of his teeth! Way to go Chase. He called the dentist "the boy" and then told him he haws his friend. Love him.

Visit with Uncle Tony
My brother came home for Christmas this year and it was nice to see him. The kids absolutely love him and call him Uncle Hair. Brynn gave him that name.
Christmas 2014
Such a wonderful holiday this year! We started out with brunch at our good friends' on Christmas Eve, hopefully a new tradition. We came home, napped & got ready for church. We met my parents at mass & came home & had our traditional hoagies and opened presents with my parents. It was a lot of fun watching Kate, Brynn and chase this year!
After presents, we put carrots out for the reindeer and cookies for Santa and everyone went to sleep!
The elves were waiting for Santa too so they could go back to the North Pole
Christmas morning! Kate was the first child up at 6:15. She was so excited when she looked over the hallway and saw the tree.
Grammie came over and namma and pop pop and tony came for dinner.

Nutcracker Tradition
For the past few Christmases my mom has taken the girls and me to the Nutcracker. We went again this year and had a great time!
Brynn's debut
Brynn's school does an amazing little Christmas show every year. Each class sings songs and Brynn's class sang 3. One was "I saw mommy kissing Santa Claus" & guess who was the mommy?!? That's right!! Our girl. She did awesome and even blew a kiss to the audience after her bow at the end. Our budding star.
