Chase is 1!

Happy 1st birthday to our sweet baby Chase! We started the day opening presents and singing Happy Birthday. Chase loved it. He loves to sing and dance! Then I took him to school and after that we had his well visit. The Dr. Said he is doing so great. He is on the lighter side so we just need to keep on feeding him to fatten him up. Ha! After his appointment we met Grammie and Michael for our first birthday dinner at Friendly's- just like his sisters did. Chase had his favorite foods today- pizza and hamburgers.

Chase is a sweetheart. He will hug and kiss, wave bye bye and just lighten up a room with a smile. He is so happy all of the time. He knows what a dog says and what a monkey says. He also says cup and at daycare went to the fridge and said cup! He's taking some steps and standing up on his own. Chase's favorite 2 people are Kate and Brynn.

Chase starts at a new school next week. He and Brynn will be together. I know he will enjoy seeing her when their classes come together.

I never thought that this year would go as quickly as it did and we have enjoyed getting to know Chase and his sweet personality. We are so lucky to have you in our lives. Happy 1st birthday sweet boy!

Ice cream!

We met one of Kate's best friends and get family for dinner last night. The kids all had ice cream with their meals. We gave Chase his first taste of ice cream. He was signing for more and yelling. He loved it!

Girls afternoon

While Chase was at home napping, the girls and I ran out for a quick pedicure. They were so patient and did so well.

Brynn is doing so well in her swimming. She's definitely getting the hang of freestyle and backstroke and is in general becoming much more comfortable/ confident in the water. Here she is at swimming on Friday with her bathing suit with "coconuts" as she calls polka dots. I had to capture it because I think it's the cutest thing. Love love love this girl!

Milk

I can say goodbye, for good, to these storage bags. Chase had all whole milk today and loved it. He's doing so great with it. I thought for sure I'd be so happy to be done nursing, and part of me was, but I was also sad about it. I can say I am so proud of myself for nursing all 3 of my children for their first year of life.

Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day! I'm so lucky to have 4 Valentines this year. They got me 2 dozen roses! Red from Rich and pink from Kate, Brynn and Chase. Thanks guys! I love them so much! Kate and Brynn had parties in their rooms. I made some treats for them and also made them heart shaped cinnamon buns for breakfast and opened our presets. Off to school for the parties. We got home, had a yummy dinner and tool baths and went to bed. Happy Valentine's Day, my loves and happy 1st one to Chase!

Happy 6th birthday Kate!

My oldest baby is 6 today. I absolutely can not believe it. I truly think she had the best birthday yet. We celebrated all weekend. She had a party with her friends on Saturday night at our house. On Sunday, Rich's family came over and we had her family party. She just had a blast both days. She woke up this morning and was so happy to be 6! She opened presents and then we went to school. She was so excited to hear her name on the loud speaker :). I took a half day and went to her classroom. I heard her birthday story, listened to comments from her class, had lunch with them and then we had birthday cupcakes. I helped out in her classroom for computers also. We then went to Target and she had her well visit. She's in the 60% for weight and 50% for height.

Kate is the sweetest girl. She is she a great helper with her brother and sister. She loves to color, draw, write and read. She's doing an amazing job with swimming. She swims all strokes and is perfecting her flip turns. She dances and is getting ready for softball to start. She loves to hang out with friends. She can't wait to have a sleep over with Madison and is so excited for the summer. One of Kate's teachers told me today that she is such a good girl. She really is. We are so lucky to call her our daughter.
