So Pretty!

Brynn is such a little girly girl. She asks to wear dresses, plays with dolls, and loves to play dress up. She wakes up in the morning asking to wear a dress and when she's dressed she has to go and show Daddy and he has to tell her how pretty she is. And, she's also always telling Kate and me "so pretty" when she sees us dressed for work/ school and Chase- "aww. So cute!". What a lovely little girl!

Fairy party

Kate went to a fairy birthday party today and had a blast. First the girls picked out an outfit. Next, they got their hair, nails and make up done. Then the music started and on te runway they went. Kate had an absolute blast! After cake, the girls took a 10 minute limo ride in a pink limo!!!! What a fun birthday party!

Almost there!

Chase has been doing really well with his head control lately. I decided to try just putting the Boppy behind him tonight (July 20) to see if he could sit up and he did! My little guy is getting so big so quickly!

5 Months Old!

Chase is 5 months old today! We got his monthly bear picture this morning. He is doing great! He's starting to eat his cereal better and is definitely taking the bottles at "school" better. He's napping 30 minutes to 1 hour twice a day now. And he goes to bed at 7 and wakes up between 6-7 with a wake up in between. He's rolling all over the place and grabbing for toys. And he's starting to babble his consonant sounds.

Chase found his feet/ toes tonight. I was drying him off after his bath and he pulled his feet up and saw them. He did a double take. Lol

Blue Rocks

We decided to go to a Blue Rocks game tonight.  They have fireworks tonight so Rich and Kate stayed for them.  Chase seemed to like his first game. Brynn has been before but she still liked watching everything and eating the food there.  Our good friends Lauren, Brian, Evan and Eric met up with us and it was fun to see them too.  Eric and Chase hung out in the bjorns. LOL. 

Pool Time

It was 109 out today!  We spent lots of time in the pool, and Chase went in for the first time and he loved it!!

4th of July

4th of July was fun this year because it was Chase's first one!  We weren't feeling very well here, but we had the girls swimming and then we went fishing at the pond at my parents'.  After, we had a cookout there.

Safety Town June 25-29

Kate attended Safety Town the week of June 25-29.  She learned about fire safety, crossing the street, her address, talking to strangers, appropriate touching and other topics for her saftey.  She had graduation on Friday and I was able to attend.

Brynn's birthday party- June 30

We had Brynn's 2nd birthday party today and we had a blast!  It was so hot out but we kept the party inside and then it was a pool party outside. Brynn had a blast. She and Kate swam until 7!  Our families and close friends were here to celebrate and it was perfect. We had all of Brynn's favorite foods- chicken, pizza, chips, pretzels and cake, all with an Elmo theme!  What a fun party and thanks Dad for taking the pictures!

Chase's 1st Cereal

Chase had his 1st cereal tonight- rice cereal.  He didn't seem to mind it too much, just had no idea what I was putting to his mouth each time.  The girls were so excited he was eating real food. The Dr. gave us the okay at his 4 month check up yesterday.  He is 14pounds, 14 ounces and 26 inches tall.  Here are some pictures of our last 1st cereal experience.
