11 Months Old

Chase is 11 months old. I know I say this all the time but I can not believe how quickly these past 11 months have gone. Chase is an absolute sweetheart. He kisses and hugs, waves bye bye and sometimes says it, blows kisses and claps with excitement when he sees someone he knows. He's all over the place- crushing along furniture, around the tables, walking behind all of his toys- even ones that aren't meant to be. He is developing a great personality too. He cracks up if someone else is and is just always so happy.

He's eating a ton of different foods. He's pretty much off of baby foods now. He has a fruit pouch and a veggie pouch everyday but he feeds himself that. He knows who we all are and looks when I ask where is Daddy or Kate or Brynn. He loves Molly. He called her "Gah" which is his word for dog.

I looked in his mouth today and it looks like his top 4 teeth are going to come through very soon.

I hope the next month goes slowly. I can't believe we are planning our last first birthday party already!

Cast off!

Kate got her cast off first thing this morning. It took 5 minutes and it was off. She is so brave. She didn't even flinch. She said that her arm felt weird, which is completely normal. We took her out to breakfast and then to get a hair cut. So happy that thing is off. Kate was so excited. All smiles.

Birdhouses

Last week, Rich took the girls to a free workshop at Home Depot. They made birdhouses and had a blast and did a great job. They got aprons and certificates and had a blast building with Daddy. Uncle Greg stopped by too to sign Kate's cast :)

2nd stamp!

Brynn got her 2nd stamp at lessons on Friday. This means she can swim 25 yards freestyle. It took her a while to get this 2nd stamp but she's in the groove now! Way to go Brynn!!!

The cast is on

Kate got her cast on yesterday. They unwrapped the splint and let it air out for a while. She was so happy to itch it. She picked out pink and blue and they did it for her- the hospital is amazing. Since Rich nor I have ever had a cast, we had no idea how it went on. It's a soft material. Almost like paper. The tech puts water on it and that cast is so hard! I bought Kate some sharpies and she took them into her class today and she came home with a cast full of signatures. The kids were running up to her this morning asking to see her cast. She's like a little celebrity in her class. She's handling it like a trooper. Not a complaint and she's still writing. No swimming but soon enough!
