American Idol

Ever since we sang Happy Birthday to Grammie last weekend, K has been singing Happy Birthday, or her version of it. I knew I had to get this on tape, and I finally did!! But, it was too long. So R took some video of her and he got her singing a little! Enjoy!!

Pedicure

Well, not really. But, I did paint K's toenails! I have been wanting to do it for so long now and finally, we were sitting around on Friday and I said, K, want to paint your toenails? And, she said yes. She sat in her little chair and I did it. She was so good and so happy with herself. I was thrilled!! R wasn't as excited as we were, but I didn't think he would be.

Linvilla

We took K to Linvilla Orchards this morning. R had a bocce ball tournament to attend, so we took her early and met up with some friends, who were celebrating their son's 2nd birthday! We had a BLAST! We got to see animals up close- deer, sheep, goats, ducks, roosters, peacocks, bunnies and even got to feed the roosters! K was so brave and did it- me not so much. I hated it, but only did it so she could see it was okay. After R left, we went to see the crafts and then our friends arrived. We took a hayride and got off and picked apples and ate raspberries right from the vine! Here are some pics of us, as well as a video of K picking apples and putting them in the box.

Happy 5th Anniversary!

Today is our 5th wedding anniversary. It is so hard to believe that it has already been 5 years. Sometimes it feels like we've known each other forever and other times it feels like we just met yesterday. It's so crazy to look back to our wedding day- and if you were there, you know that was a crazy day with the hurricane, rain and fire alarm that evacuated our reception-and to look at where we are now! The past 5 years have been amazing and I look forward to another 100 with R- we have the best life together!

Sidewalk Chalk

We bought K some sidewalk chalk and it has been the best thing yet! We play outside with it everyday and we don't have to worry about getting it on the walls or the carpet. R showed his artistic ability (he's actually really good at art in case you didn't know) and drew some sidewalk pics, but made it look like K did.

19 Months Old!

K is 19 months old now. I would have posted last night, but I wasn't feeling well. She got a stomach bug from daycare and passed it on to me. Oh well! We took some pics yesterday with her bear. They weren't as hard to get as last month, but definitely not as easy as a year ago.
