Story snack

Today I got to go to Kate's classroom and read a story to her class and bring in a snack.  It was a blast. To sit in the chair and have 19 sweet little faces looking at me and listening was the best!  I had to think of a snack and they have been talking about apples this month so I brought apple cupcakes. What a fun day!!!

19 Months old

Chase is 19 months old today. I have a bear pic on my camera that I will upload this weekend and post. I didn't get a chance. Chase is doing awesome!  He's starting to string together words, continues to be active, is jumping all over the place and just a sweetheart. He had his 1st plane ride, 1st trip to Disney, which I will post more about soon, and his 1st swim lesson. He is just loving life. He's still a mommy's boy and I love it. Although he's everyone's boy :). 

Kate's 1st BYC Soccer Game- Clinic 1

Today was Kate's 1st soccer game.  She has been telling us how much she didn't want to play soccer, how much she hated it, etc.  She played the best game today! She had a blast and told us how much she loves soccer now.  I think it has a lot to do with Rich being the assistant coach!  Her team is called the Lions. She was so aggressive. Ran after the ball.  Just awesome!!

Chase plays ball!

Chase is starting his baseball skills early.Rich was outside playing and called me to see this.  Chase put the ball on the tee and was hitting it. He was so proud of himself.

Brynn moves to a group lesson

Brynn moved into a group lesson today at swimming. She was so excited to be in this group. She did great and sat at the edge of the pool and waited her turn. Go Brynn!!  You are turning out to be quite the little fish. Love you!!

Chase's 1st swim lesson

Tonight was Chase's 1st swim lesson with Miss Alicia. He was so excited to go but when he got in he cried. The entire time. Ugh. But there were no tears. Just noise. He went under, did kicks, floated and even did his paddles!  Such a big boy!

1st grade

So far 1st grade is going well. Kate loves her teacher, who we met tonight and loved just as much, loves her class, loves the bus and eating in the cafeteria. It's a lot of responsibility. Lol. She also told me that she wants to be a doctor when she grows up. I hope so!!!

Big boy

I don't know why but Chase looks so much older to me today. I dressed him in his Eagles best for the game tonight and I watched him walk down the steps this morning and thought to myself how much older he looks. To justify my thoughts, I got a note that they have moved him to a mat at daycare- no more pack and play!  Holy moly. This is happening way too quickly for me!!

Brynn starts 3 year old room

Today was Brynn's 1st school day in her 3 year old room. She has the same teacher as Kate and we couldn't be more excited. Brynn loves school and loves her BFF Gianna. Last week, the school was closed for cleaning. We worked on Brynn not sucking her fingers and she did it!!!  She still does it at night but I think she will figure that out in time. She had a great 1st day and we got a note home about how great she did with her fingers!  Way to go B!!!  And chase had to jump in on the pics too. 

Kate goes to 1st grade

Kate started 1st grade today!  She got on the bus, I followed it for a little and then she was off!  It was only a half day and I worried every second, but she did great! Her school had a half day today so I was waiting, with my mom, at the bus stop at noon. Kate got off and was practically skipping down the street. She was telling me all about her day and how great it was. The best part was they had iPads in the classroom. Rich called and she told him a little but then when he got home she told him everything. She's so excited for tomorrow. We had a little BBQ for Labor Day and my mom got her this cake and we got her a are and stickers to decorate her pencil box. Go Kate!  We are so proud of you and all you do. Can't believe you are in 1st grade!!!
