Happy Halloween!

We started out our morning opening cards from Namma and Pop Pop who are in India- thanks for the cards and money!!

After pick up, we came home and had dinner and the girls opened their Halloween baskets from us-yes, I do Halloween baskets too. I love the holidays and any reason to get the girls something is good enough for me :)

Then it was time to party!  We got some pictures inside and out of our precious lady bugs:

While we were taking pictures, Grammie stopped by. She brought the girls beanie babies- thanks Grammie!

Then it was time to get it going- Kate was beside herself with excitement. Brynn had no idea what was going on :)

Brynn was jumping up and down in her buggy- she was so excited and didn't know why.

Luke went around with us too! Brynn saw him and was screaming Elmo! It was absolutely adorable. I'm so glad we went out together again :)

I had to put this picture on her because I can not get enough of Kate's pose

Trick or Treat!

So happy to be getting all this candy!  Because there are only a few children in our neighborhood, they get TONS of candy. We have so much!
Heading home after a very fun night!

Kate's Halloween Parade and Party

After Brynn's Halloween parade, Rich and I had a lunch date and then were off to Kate's party and parade.  Kate was so excited that Rich was there to help out with the party!  The kids had a field trip earlier in the day to a retirement home to sing their Halloween songs to the old people.  After that, they came back, had lunch and went outside to play. While they were outside, a few parents set up for the party.  The kids came back in and were flipping out- they had pretzels, apples, dip, apple cider, and cookies.

Here they are at the party:

The teachers dressed up as Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head- they were adorable!
After the eating, they did some of their dancing, and I have to say that they were precious.  Rich and I were absolutely hysterical laughing at the one dance that they did.
The dance ended with them sticking out their butts and every one of them was laughing.
Kate and her friends. I have to say it was so cool to watch her interact with all of these new friends. They are really so sweet to one another

Heading out to the parade with their banner

Parading

Found her!

Kate pretty much skipped through the whole thing she was so happy.
 Some of her friends
We had a blast at her classroom helping out and with the parade!  What fun and we are so lucky that we were able to do that!

Brynn's Halloween Parade - Onesie

Today was Brynn's 1st Halloween parade.  She was doing great until she saw us and started crying. So, we held her and then handed her back to her teacher.  She had a blast at her party. She threw down the pizza- of course, had cookies cupcakes and then the teacher had some get her some french fries.  She said that Brynn saw the fries and started doing all of her signs to get it! LOL.

Here are some pictures of her at her 1st parade:

Ultrasound - 22 weeks

We started off our Halloween morning with an ultrasound to see some things that the Dr. couldn't see before.  Because I'm 4 weeks further along, the tech turned on the 4D, and we got this amazing picture of our son!  I can't believe I'm saying son. LOL.  Anyway, thankfully, everything looked great and the baby is healthy and weighs 1 pound!

Happy 6th Birthday, Molly!

Today was Molly's birthday.  We sang to her when we fed her and gave her lots of love.

Happy Birthday, girl.

Snow in October?!?!

Well, the weather forecast was calling for it, but no one believed it, but it actually happened!  It snowed!  It actually stuck to the ground too.  We went out to dinner tonight, it was 33 degrees, and snow on the ground! It's not even Halloween!!

Kate's 1st Field Trip

Kate had her first field trip today.  She went to Dr. Anzillotti's office to see the play that they perform every year.  This year the play was "Sleeping Beauty".  Fortunately, Kate had a Sleeping Beauty shirt from Bridget that she wore.  She wanted to wear a skirt and her uggs for the field trip. She was the most excited that she was going to get on a school bus.  Here she is in her field trip outfit:
I was bursting at the seams to get her from school and hear all about it.  She told me she loved the play and that everyone was dressed up in a costume- they were not real characters.  She also told me that she rode next to Park on the way to the play and Madison on the way home.  She got a little pumpkin filled with candy too.  So, the first field trip in this family was a success!

Crazy Hayride

We went on a hayride and hotdog/ smores night last night with CPS.  First we did the hayride.  We got on the hayride and it was awesome!  The drivers were starting out slowly, but then the next cart came and they threw hay all over us so the war was on. Then the drivers started driving the tractors crazily, so we were everywhere!
Here are Rich and the girls before we got started:

Brynn having so much fun jumping all over the hayride

Just 1 piece of the hay.  We had hay all over us. Rich changed Brynn's diaper when we got home, after we all stripped in the laundry room and threw our clothes right in the wash, and he found a piece of hay in her diaper! It was literally everywhere.  I still had some in my hair today.

Covered in hay

Such fun!!
After the hayride, we went and cooked hotdogs over a fire and then made smores.  Rich cooked the dogs for us:

Kate helped with the smores.  The lady in the white jacket is on the board with me at CPS.
Brynn had so much fun!  Kate did too. Kate was telling everyone about it this morning while we were at church!

GOAL!

Kate scored her 1st goal at her soccer game today!!  I looked up and there she was running with the ball towards the goal.  Another player from the other team was there and they shot it in together. OMG! I flipped.  I was definitely that obnoxious parent on the sideline, but guess what? I DIDN'T CARE!  Not one bit!

Picture Day!

Today was picture day for Kate. She wore a beautiful dress, that we got from Bridget, and was so excited. I asked her this morning how she was going to smile, and this is what I got:

So so pretty :)

My talented friend Bri took some pictures of us last weekend at her son's birthday. Yes, she took time from the party and offered to take our picture!  I won't pass up a family picture :)  Look at how great these turned out- thanks Bri!! We LOVE them!!

I am so not a photographer, and know nothing about photography, but I LOVE the angle on this picture.
