Christmas Party

We went to K's 1st Christmas party last night at her daycare. It was so nice of Leslie to do this for the kids. They did a little secret santa and Leslie bought them all a little something. It was really cute and everyone had a great time. And, Santa came!! Here are some pics of the party and of K before- my mom bought her this little dress and I just LOVE it!!

Girls Weekend

What a weekend I had! My friend Brianna came into town, so all the girls got together and went to see a movie- Nothing like the holidays. On Saturday, we went to dinner in Philly at Pod to celebrate my friend Lauren's birthday. Here are a few pictures from our girls' dinner.

Christmas Decorations

Here is a photo of our house all decorated for Christmas. We got 1 reindeer from my parents when they moved and then we added another to our collection. This year, R put wreaths on each of the windows and spotlights on the house.

Please Touch Museum

Our friend M & I took K & B to the Please Touch Museum in Philly. They had a blast!! It is so cute to watch them together- they are 5 months apart-to the day!- and they love each other. It's really cute and fun to watch them.

Santa

R met me at the mall today & we took K to see Santa. He came around last night on the fire truck & she kept asking for him. So, we took her today. At first, she was so excited to see him. She held on to me, but I put her on his lap & she just stared. Then she told him he was on the firetruck & that she wanted a toy for Christmas. She did great!! Here are some pictures.

22 Months Old!

K is 22 months old today. I can't believe that in 2 months, she's going to be 2! Where did the time go? I think the pictures with the bear are getting a little better- she now knows that when I have a paper, camera and bear in hand, it's time for her picture :) She wanted to hold the paper this month, so this was the best i was going to get. Enjoy!

PS- Santa is coming through our neighborhood tonight so I am SO EXCITED!! I just hope that she's awake to see him!

Christmas Season is here!

I have always started decorating the house for Christmas on the day after Thanksgiving. And, this year, I had more help! K & R both pitched in & we got the whole house decorated, outside mostly done (by R), tree up and decorated! Last year K put the star on the tree. I think we will keep with that tradition since she's so good at it!

Happy Thanksgiving

We hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. We have so much to be thankful for. We are truly blessed with a healthy and beautiful little girl, with each other, with a loving family and the best friends we could ask for.
We had breakfast with R's family on Thanksgiving morning. We are doing a white elephant this year, so we picked everyone's names for that. We can spend up to $20 on the person we picked and it has to be something funny. R's mom gave each of the kids $10 to spend on someone or something, but it can't be family. A great thing to teach them when they are young. We have to figure out how K will spend her money since she is a little too young this year. Maybe next year. The kids all had so much fun together and so did we.

After, we came home and my parents, R's mom, M, Pap Pap and R's Uncle Jim all came for dinner. I cooked for the first time, by myself. J brought the pies and my mom made her awesome mashed potatoes.

Peek a boo

I was in the kitchen this morning & K came in to play. She was messing around with the cabinet & moving things around. I didn't care- as long as she didn't break anything. I looked over & she was sitting in the cabinet, trying to close the door. I called R in & he got this great video!

Future Cheerleader

I think K will take after me and be a cheerleader :) Although the Eagles tied, K was still cheering them on. She is definitely her father's daughter though. When she woke up from her nap, she said, "Mommy, I want to watch football." Go Eagles!

21 Months old!

K is 21 months old today- I know I write this every time, but I just can't believe it. Someone asked me how old she was and I said, Oh my gosh, she's going to be 21 months old on the 4th. She is now jumping, sings songs, talks in full sentences and runs. She got her last 1 year old molar. I think her eye teeth will be next and then her 2 year molars after that. She's still so happy and loves life- always running around with a smile. And, she even voted with Daddy today! R took her and let her press the buttons.

Picture with the bear- she is happy she only has 3 more of these to do then we move to yearly!
