Happy Halloween!

We hope that everyone had a Happy and safe Halloween! We had a great day. We watched the Phillies Championship parade and then went out for trick or treating! K did great!! She knocked on all the doors and said, "Trick or Treat." She said, "Happy Halloween" and "Thank you" to everyone. When people let her take the candy, she opted for the Baby Ruths. Not sure why- R thinks because they are shiny. Hope you enjoy the pictures of the cutest zebra around!

Happy Birthday, Molly!

Molly is 3 today, or 21 really- she's legal! Just kidding. Here are some pictures of K trying to hug Molly, one of her favorite things to do!, and then hugging her.
Molly has come such a long way since we got her. If you haven't heard the story, she was really sick when we got her- almost died. But, she pulled through and is here and 3!!
Happy Birthday, Molly!

Carving Pumpkins

R and I have been carving pumpkins since we started dating- haven't missed it one year. We did it with K last year, but she was too little to know what was going on. But, not this year! She participated in the carving. She dug out the gross insides, and even had her own little pumpkin to carve. She didn't like when we put the lights in them and turned out the lights- she said, "I don't like it." I'm thinking Friday will be an adventure! GO PHILLIES!!!!!!

Fun Weekend

We had a great weekend this past weekend. My half sister Carmen came to visit us and R did "Sleep Under the Stars" with his brother and nephews. He wants to take K so badly, but she's still too young. So, we took her to get a look and feel of what camping was all about!

One of my favorite new stores!

My very good friend, Bri, has opened up her own business! I am so proud of her and look up to her for doing this. I'd love to have my own business and be my own boss, I'm really just not that creative!

Here is the logo and the website, if you're interested in ordering something. We'll be ordering one for K, of course! But, these make a great gift for a new birth or a Christmas present! website= www.modmemento.com

Linvilla Again

So, we took K to Linvilla again this past weekend. The weather was so beautiful that we wanted to take advantage of being outside. We got there and did a 10-15 minute hayride. It was fun, but K wasn't too impressed. She did have fun playing with the hay, but by the end, she was laying on me, almost ready for a nap. After the hayride, we played some in the little amusement area they have. We took her to the pumpkin bins, but she hated posing for a picture there. We got this great shot of her looking out from the little playhouse there!

Go Eagles!

Even though they didn't win yesterday, to in my opinion one of the worst teams in the NFL, we still support the Eagles. In fact, this picture has 3 of our favorite things: K, Eagles and Uggs!! (These are her slippers, not her boots, but yes, they are Ugg slippers) :)

20 Months old!

K is 20 months old today! I know I write this every month, but I really can't believe it. Neither of us can. She's so funny with all of her words and sentences. She uses her manners and is repeating EVERYTHING we say. The other day I tried to put her boots on her and she said, with her finger pointing and waving up and down, "NO Mommy!" It's so hard not to laugh at her, but we're really trying not to so we don't encourage it, but it is really cute!

The pictures with the bear are getting harder. Like I told her this morning, only 4 more with the bear this year and then we'll do it every year.

And she can count to 11!

No joke. K can count to 15 actually, with some help, of course. Here is another video that R took of her!

A Girl needs her shoes

I broke down and bought K a pair of Uggs. I swore I wasn't going to do it, but I did. And, let me tell you, I'm saving this story for her for when she's older. We got to the shoe store- I was so excited, I couldn't stand it! The lady brought the Uggs out and K screamed, I mean, melt down! She's really only worn shoes for 2 months that she's been walking so it's understandable. I bought them anyway. I told R and I think he just thought I was being a little dramatic, if you can believe that! We decided she needed some sneakers so R took her before school on Thursday and called me to tell me that it was a nightmare. She was telling the sales people, "No Thank you!" and straightening out her body, but he got them on her. Does she love her shoes? We'll see. I got the Uggs on this morning so that was a start.
