Picture Day!

Today is Kate's first picture day. She looked adorable in her little outfit. I know it's not the outfit that makes the picture, but it was important. She even got to wear her Uggs since it's a nice fall day here! The picture is a little blurry since it was sent to me by Rich's cell phone, but you get the idea. I was so excited to see how her outfit turned out and I think Rich knew it so he sent me a picture :) She's so happy to have her picture taken :)

Preschool & Potty Training

Wow, it's been a while since i've posted. oops. We've been so busy with school, work and our biggest accomplishment- POTTY TRAINING!!! Yes, Kate is in underwear during the day. We noticed that since she's started preschool, she's been having dry pull ups throughout the day. So, at night, we'd put underwear on her until bedtime. She was accident free in pull ups and underwear for 2 days so on Friday, the 18th, we decided to put her in underwear. She's had NO ACCIDENTS!!! and is doing so great with going to the potty. We are so proud of her and this huge accomplishment!! We both find it so funny that she just gets up and goes to the potty on her own. Such a big girl now!!

So, that's the news on our end :)

Happy Grandparents' Day

Happy Grandparents' Day to the best Grandparents Kate could ask for. Namma, Pop Pop, Grammie and Pop Pop in heaven, Kate is so lucky to have you in her life and watching over her. We hope that you have a wonderful day.

6 Year Anniversary

6 years ago today I married my best friend, Rich. It was a rainy September day, but one of the best days of my life. We've been through our ups and downs, but we've been through them together, and wouldn't want it any other way. Our love has resulted in our beautiful little girl. Looking forward to what the next 6 years, and more!!! will bring. xoxoxo

Bethany Beach Vacation- September

We were in Bethany Beach from August 31 to September 4. This time, we stayed at the National Guard Training site. This had a special meaning to me, because growing up, that is where we would go. I was so excited for Rich and Kate to experience this.

Kate LOVED the helicopter and tanks.

Riding the tank by herself
We went to Rehoboth our first night there and Kate rode on the rides she was familiar with. She and Namma went on the MerryGoRound, helicopters with Pop Pop and the rest by herself!

On Wednesday, we were able to get to the beach for a little bit. As you can see, it was VERY cloudy and cold. The wind was crazy and there was a huge drop off fro the beach to the ocean. We didn't last too long on the beach, and went back to the playground at the training site.

We went into Rehoboth on Thursday night and Kate played this game. You had to throw the balls into the cups and if you got a red cup, you won a small. If you got a yellow cup, you won a large and the silver was the jumbo. Well, Kate got a yellow cup and won this duck!!!

And then Rich decided to take her on this ride. Looks innocent, but it was SO FAST and it went backwards. I almost died watching them, but she LOVED it and said it was crazy!! So, the weather wasn't the best, but it was so great to spend time together.

1st Day of Preschool

Kate started at her new Preschool today. She was SO EXCITED to go and did such a great job at drop off! When she woke up, we had a princess balloon waiting for her to celebrate her big day. She also got her favorite donut on a special plate for special occassions. We packed her own lunch- she picked out what she wanted- peanut butter and jelly, green beans, a cheese stick and strawberries.

We can't believe our baby is already in Preschool!!
