Movin on out

Brynn slept in her crib last night. She did fine and so did I. LOL. In all seriousness, she did great. We swaddled her and had an ipod on for her and she slept great. phew.

Pigtails!

Kate wore her hair in pigtails today and was so excited to have them in. Had to post a picture.

1 Month Old

Brynn is 1 month old today! Hard to believe it's been a month since this sweet little beauty joined our family. We LOVE having her with us. Kate is obsessed with her baby sister. She LOVES to touch her and be right on her and kiss her. She is a huge helper too. Brynn is a great baby- we are so lucky. She has her fussy time at night, but she's sleeping well and so sweet. She can lay on her belly and turn her head from side to side too :) We go tomorrow to the Dr. for her visit so I'll post about that if I can.

Kate's 1st dentist appointment

Today was Kate's 1st appointment at the dentist. She did so well. It helps that both Rich and I have been going to the same dentist forever, even before we were together, we went to the same dentist. So, we've known them a while and Kate was treated like a princess.

First Bottle & Teddy Bear Picnic

Brynn had her 1st bottle last night. I had my mom give it to her so that I can pump, but she did great! She sucked it right down- hope she didn't like it too much :)
Kate was so happy she was taking a bottle because she could help now :)

And, today, Kate had a teddy bear picnic at school. All the kids brought in teddy bears and blankets and they've been making teddy bear decorations all week.

3 weeks old!

Brynn is 3 weeks old today! Here is her picture with the bear.

And, Kate wanted to have her picture done with the bear as well :) Kate was all excited because today at school the Mr. Softee truck came. She got a bubblegum flavored popsicle! She was in heaven.

July 16 Newborn Photo Shoot & dinner!

Our very talented friend Bri came down to take some newborn photos of Brynn. I asked if I could have Kate in a few as well and she was all for it.

These pictures came out SO AMAZING!!These bloomers were actually a gift from the C's- I LOVE anything with monograms!
Doesn't this look like an Anne Geddes portrait? I can not get enough of this picture. If you come to visit, you will definitely see this in our house :)

My mom got Brynn this outfit. This was what she was going to wear home from the hospital, but it was too cold.

And, as if this wasn't enough, Bri also brought dinner for us to enjoy.

July 15 & 16- Cord off & 1st Bath!

Brynn's cord fell off on July 15. Rich was bringing her up to me for her last feeding and I saw something on the bed. Rich threw on the light and it was her cord! The little brown stuff is some medicine the Dr. put on it at her last visit just to prevent infection. He assured me it would go away.
So, we celebrated with some Rita's on Friday night and gave Brynn her 1st bath! Kate was so excited to put Brynn in the fishy tub. She got her stool and helped me. She loves to help give her a bath. Brynn really didn't mind the bath too much. I remember Kate used to love it and still LOVES it to this day!

And, here is Brynn all wrapped up and getting warm with Daddy. I LOVE this picture of them.

July 14- Dinner Dates

Our great friends made us dinner on Wednesday night. As any new mom knows, this is the best gift you can get- you don't have to think about what to cook, or worry about when to find the time to cook it. Lauren came down with E, who is 6 weeks older than Brynn. Here they are on a date :)
This was double the trip because Kate absolutely adores Brian. So much so that my dad asked me who Brian was because Kate was talking about him. She told Rich the other day that Brian is "her favorite kid" :)

July 13- Day with Namma and Pop Pop

Kate, Brynn and I spent the day with my mom and dad on Tuesday- our cleaning lady was at the house and I knew she'd want to hang out with Kate & Brynn, so we got out of her hair.

Kate made brownies with Namma- she stirred them and put the icing on them.
And, after a delicious dinner, the girls posed with Namma and Pop Pop

July 12- 2 weeks old!

Brynn is 2 weeks old today. Hard to believe that she is so new. It's only been 2 weeks, but we can't imagine our lives without her!

Lazy Saturday- July 10

We had a lazy Saturday- it was pouring all day. Rich was supposed to play golf, but got rained out. Iris came to visit Brynn and see her one more time before she has her baby- thanks for visiting Iris!

Rich and Brynn got a nap in.. how sweet is this picture?Kate woke up from her nap and everyone was with Daddy while he napped. I probably should have gotten one myself.
Kate really wanted to have a picnic, but because it was raining outside, we opted to get a little creative and have a picnic inside. We got Taco Bell/ KFC, or Senor Sanders, as Rich calls it and were able to enjoy our picnic.

First Friday at home- July 9

We were all home for our first Friday together- no Daddy, no School! Look how happy Kate & Brynn are.....Kate wanted to show me how strong her muscles were so she pulled off this big move...
Kate had swimming and Rich met us there. After swimming, we had dinner and then decided to take Brynn for a walk. It was finally cool enough and not as humid that we could take her out comfortably. Kate pushed her, then walked Molly.
After the walk, we came home and had movie night- Brynn's first movies night. As you can see, she loved the movie. LOL.

Splash Day and Tummy Time!- July 8

Kate had splash day at school on July 8 so she got to wear her bathing suit and crocs to school. I had Brynn in her bouncy seat and Kate wanted to be with her and have her picture taken with her. I LOVE this picture of our babies. And, Brynn started her tummy time today. I totally forget how long they are supposed to do it, but since she's so little, we're only doing a little bit at a time. Plus, I had to get a picture of the back of this outfit- how cute are the little ruffles on her butt?
Also, we went to the Dr. yesterday for Brynn's 2nd weight check and she was 9 pounds 8 ounces so she already exceeded her birth weight, so we are done at the Dr. until she's 1 month old. Phew.

July 5 - 1 week old & Phillies Phans

Brynn is 1 week old! I decided to do her pictures with the bear, just as I did with Kate, so here is her one week picture.
And, here are our Phillies Phans! Kate & Brynn have matching Phillies shirts that they were today! Kate LOVES picking out outfits for Brynn and LOVES even more to have them match- just like her momma does :)

4th of July- Brynn's 1st holiday!

Happy 4th of July! It's Brynn's 1st holiday! I remember this holiday 3 years ago- it was the first time Kate had cereal :)

We started out our morning with a visit from Brian and Evan. Brian had to get the chain saw and Evan wanted to see Brynn. Hot date... he was asleep :)



Here is our little 4th of July girl in her flag t shirt. More to come of this shirt... i got one for all of us. I'm such a dork :)
It was a beautiful day so we hung out by the pool. We put Brynn in this little tent on her vibrating seat, with a fan from our friends, and she hung out. It was wonderful.
Rich, Kate & I made a cake for dessert for that night. We went to my mom and dad's for a cookout. All I wanted was a burger on the grill and I got it :)
Kate did a great job decorating the cake. She managed to not eat all of the icing. She LOVED putting the American Flags on the cake too. She is such a baker.

Later that night, Rich did a photoshoot of Brynn. Here is a really cute one :)

July 3 Weight Check and First Visit to Namma and Pop Pop's

We had to take Brynn to the Dr. for her weight check. We left the hospital and she was 8 pounds, 11 ounces. At her appointment, she was 9 pounds, 2 ounces, so she is doing great!


After the Doctor, we stopped to see Namma & Pop Pop. Brynn felt so right at home, she went right to sleep :)

Our good friends Lauren and Brian came down to meet Brynn, with their newborn, Evan. I think they will be girlfriend/boyfriend some day. We didn't get any pictures of them, but I know we'll see a lot of them :)

July 2

Here are Rich and his girls ready to start the day. Kate was home from school that day so we just hung around at home.

Molly is exhausted from a sleepless night

Katie and Mike came over that afternoon so Mike could meet Brynn and then John and Chrissy were coming for dinner. Everyone ended up staying to eat the pizza that Chrissy and John brought us. It was DELICIOUS!!! and so fun to hang out with everyone!

I love this picture. I am obsessed with dressing Kate & Brynn the same. They have on shirts that say Big Sister and Little Sister.

We had such a great day. It's been so fun having Rich around all week!!
