9 weeks old!

Brynn is 9 weeks old today! She is smiling so much at us- it's so much fun! She's been eating her last feeding at 7:20- 7:30 and going to bed around 8-8:30 and waking up between 2-3:30! She's doing so great!!

Brynn's first party!

Brynn went to her first party yesterday. It was a surprise party for my 6 year old nephew. She did great and had a great time- just mad mommy didn't eat any cake. :)


My nephew was totally surprised at his party. I can't believe he's 6 already!! Happy Birthday Matthew!

2 Months Old!

Brynn is 2 months old today! She is getting so big and is so happy!! We have smiles, oohs and ahhs and she is just so much fun! Her 2 month appointment is in 2 weeks so I'll update then with her stats :)

Daycation

On Thursday, we went to Wildwood for the day to visit Rich's brother and his family who were vacationing there. I was SO EXCITED to go to the beach, see Kate on the beach and introduce Brynn to one of my favorite things in the world... the beach!! We had such a great day! Both girls were amazing and so well behaved and Brynn did great for her first trip!

8 weeks old & new job!

Brynn is 8 weeks old today! She is doing so great- she's holding her head up and has rolled from her belly to her back a few times. She's sleeping well and is such a joy to us. Kate is still so in love with her and is the biggest helper. We went to Wildwood last week for a daycation and had a great time- pictures tomorrow, I hope :)

And, Rich started a new job today! The first day is always the hardest, but we know he will do great.

Weekend plans

We had a great weekend! On Friday, Brynn smiled for the first time :) On Saturday, she rolled over from her belly to her back!!! And, I went to the Paul McCartney Concert with my mom. It was great! I knew a few of the songs, which was fun.

Sister Love

Kate still adores Brynn. It's so sweet to watch her. She calls her sweetie, honey. It's so cute. I got this picture of them during tummy time.

6 weeks!

Brynn is 6 weeks old today. I just can't imagine our lives without her. Truly. She's a joy and is so special to us. Kate is just in love with her and wants to touch her and be with her every minute. Brynn can turn her head from side to side on her belly and she's gaining such control of her head. She's in 0-3 month clothing now too. I'm sure no one really cares, but I want to go back and look at this to remember when she did certain things, so just bear with this proud mama :)

Great Weekend!

We had such a great weekend. On Friday, my friend Joanne and her daughter stopped by on their way to Virginia. Joanne and I met in 1990 and were the best of friends. We hung out at our pool everyday and were inseparable. Joanne went off to college and then so did I and we lost touch, but got back in touch through facebook and she stopped by to visit. It was just like 1990 all over again :)
On Saturday, we took Kate & Brynn fishing at the park! Brynn did great for her 1st fishing trip. Kate did awesome!

And, today, we took Brynn to church for the 1st time. It was so nice to be able to go back and I even talked Rich into going with me to help me. The girls did great and everyone was so happy to see us back. Hope we can go next week too :)

Kate is 3 1/2!!

Kate is 3 1/2 now. Yesterday was her half birthday. I don't usually "celebrate" half birthdays, but I did yesterday- nothing big. Rich golfed after work so Kate, Brynn and I had McDonald's for dinner, which was a special treat.

We can't believe she's 3 1/2 already!! Love you sweetie.

5 Weeks Old!

Brynn is 5 weeks old today. She is doing great and we think we got a smile out of her, but we aren't sure. It was definitely a smile, just not sure if it's gas or not :)

She is in her crib and doing well there. This week we've been working on getting her to nap not on me :)

Kate's 1st manicure

Kate & I had a little alone time yesterday and went to get pedicures that I needed. Kate has been telling us she's done sucking her thumb, so we talked to the Dr. and he said to try a manicure. Well, here's hoping it worked! I painted her nails while the girl painted her toenails. She went 4 hours without sucking her thumb! I'm sure she did last night, but that's okay. She's very conscious of it now, so that was the goal. She was SO EXCITED to have her nails painted and couldn't wait to get home to show Daddy :)

Fun Weekend & Brynn's 1st dinner out

We had a great weekend of no plans!
