Royal Wedding!

I woke up this morning at 6 and went downstairs, turned on the TV and Kate Middleton and her father were arriving at Westminster Abby. I cried my eyes out as she walked down the aisle. I have an obsession with the Royal Family. I was so happy to see this part of history, and couldn't wait to wake Kate and Brynn. They both woke up in time to see them married, walking hand in hand out of the Abby. Here they are watching the Royal Wedding!

I know Prince Harry will soon be knocking on our door for one of our Princesses :)

10 Months Old!!

My baby girl is 10 Months old today! She is crawling all over the place, pulling up like crazy and can walk a few steps when you hold her hands. She LOVES to eat, and is learning to drink from a sippy cup. Her favorite person is still Kate :) Brynn can clearly say, "Dada, dog and tonight she said Bye bye! If you ask her where the dog is, she looks, and if you ask her where her ball is she looks in that direction. She loves to play catch. She kicks her little legs when she "throws" the ball. And, the little hairs on the top of her head are already starting to curl!

Getting a picture with the bear was a little tough this time around. This is the best we got:
Because this is how she feels about the bear now:

The past 10 months have flown by and we are all enjoying getting to know Brynn and can't imagine not having her in our lives.

Go Flyers!

Flyers are moving to Round 2 in the playoffs! And, guess who was there to see them beat Buffalo?!? Yep!!! Rich is famous. Greg had tickets to the game and asked Rich to go. They were 2nd row, center ice and at the end of the game, Rich and Greg were on TV for 30 some seconds. We have both gotten so many e mails and pictures, it's so exciting! I thought I'd post it so we can always remember!

While Rich was at the game, I took the girls for a walk. Kate likes to either push Brynn or walk Molly. She was walking Molly and got a little ahead of us and there were some contractors doing work. We kept telling Kate not to get too far ahead of us. Jenn said, "There are strangers up there". As we passed them, Kate looks at them and says, "Hi Strangers!" Hysterical!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! We hope everyone had a very Happy Easter and was able to spend it with their loved ones. We definitely did!

On Saturday, Namma and Pop Pop (who came home on Friday night) came over for dinner.

We put carrots out for the Easter bunny just in case he needed to refuel while delivering baskets and hiding eggs. Kate broke each one in half so he could chew them easier.
We all went to bed and look what I woke up to! The Easter bunny came! The order of baskets is: Rich, Brynn, Molly, Kate & me.
The girls woke up and we all got ready for church. We came downstairs to see if the bunny actually came. Kate was worried he was going to come into her room, but I told her he wouldn't.

Here is Kate seeing her basket for the 1st time:
Here is Brynn seeing her basket for the first time. **Happy 1st Easter Brynn! **
Kate went right to opening her basket and seeing what the bunny brought her. She got so much stuff... not a ton of candy, just things she would like, like board books, bubbles, Tangled, a stuffed bunny...and lots more stuff...
Brynn went through her basket. She got a pink bunny just like Kate, some puffs, some Little People and bubbles and a stuffed rabbit.
Here is Kate opening Tangled. She was so excited. She hugged it!
Brynn and her basket with her name on it. After baskets, we went to Church to celebrate and met Namma and Pop Pop there. Kate & Brynn did so well. Everyone came over to see them in their dresses. Brynn fell asleep for a little while, but was such a good baby. We brought some toys and during the mass, I pulled out her Little People bunny. She kept saying, "dog". That's her new word :) After Church, we came home and had breakfast with Namma and Pop Pop and opened up goodies from them as well- Thanks NAMMA AND POP POP!
you have to love the little butts on the baby outfits...
After breakfast, the Easter bunny hid eggs throughout our front yard. 30 eggs stuffed with money, jelly beans or chocolate candies! Such fun!!!

Kate was on the hunt... she meant business....
She had to wear her rain boots because the grass was so wet from a storm earlier in the morning.
Kate meant business, but so did Brynn. Brynn found a few eggs on her own.
We finished the egg hunt, had lunch, naps and then Namma & PopPop came back over. We went to Jenn and Jeremy's for Easter dinner. We had a feast! Ham, Pulled pork, green bean casserole, potatoe casserole, macaroni salad, potato salad, shrimp, cherry fluff, pineapple stuffing, biscuits, and tons of desserts. I'm sure i'm missing some of the food. Everything was so delicous. Namma & Pop Pop came too and everyone had such a great time. Hoping that this will be a tradition now.

Here are Brynn and Luke. I love how Luke is holding Brynn's hand.
After dinner, the Easter bunny left Jenn a note that he hid eggs at their house. The eggs had a B, K or L on them. It was so much fun!

Here is Brynn finding her egg..
Here is Kate finding her's..
Here are the 3 babies. They played so well, and we were so happy to get this picture of all 3, with no one falling off of the steps. :)
The girls were completely spoiled and had big bags with each of their initials on them filled with goodies from Jenn, Jeremy and Luke. How sweet was that? THANKS JENN, JEREMY and LUKE!

After dinner, we came home and Namma & Pop Pop went home and Grammie stopped over to bring the girls some Easter goodies as well. THANKS GRAMMIE.

We ended our Easter watching the movie Tangled.

It was the perfect Easter filled with family and friends.

I am a lucky girl!

Who needs toys?

Who needs toys when you have a clothes basket??

Now that Brynn is mobile, she loves to take the clothes out of the clothes basket as I put them in. It is so funny. On Sunday, she was practically in the basket, so Rich put her in and Kate quickly joined :)

Dying Easter Eggs

Yesterday was a rainy day, so there wasn't much to do, but to make an Easter bunny cake and have Lauren, Brian and Evan over to dye eggs.

Kate & I made this cake using a bunny pan we got at Christmas Tree Shops.

We had dinner & then dyed eggs. Brian was putting the egg holders on as glasses and Kate was hysterical. Anything Brian, or Bri as she calls him, does is hysterical to her.
Kate did a blue egg first. Her favorite colors are pink and blue.
Not sure who was having more fun... the kids or Rich and Brian. They made cool eggs.. plaid, tie dyed, polka dotted.
Brynn had a blast dying eggs for the 1st time. Here she is dying her own egg! :)
Kate & Daddy having fun dying eggs
Brynn and Evan weren't too into the whole egg dying thing. They were too busy playing in the other room. I love capturing pictures of these 2 at different stages. Lauren and I agreed that when they were babies, they looked so different, but now that they are a little older, they don't seem that far apart in age.
Rich made this polka dot egg that matched Brynn's shirt!
Brynn concentrating on her egg. When she concentrates on something, she hums. It's so funny.
We had a great time doing the eggs. Rich and I have been dying eggs since our 1st Easter together. It's so fun that we have more people to join in and help us!

First boo boo

Brynn got her 1st real boo boo today. She was taking a walk in the buggy and Kate unstrapped her. She was leaning, reaching for a leaf, and fell out of the buggy :( She hit her head & cheek pretty hard. It's hard to see but if you look on the top right of her head, you see a red bump and her cheek has a bump too. She cried for a little, Rich put "the princess" ice pack on it and she's all better. Let's just hope it doesn't show up in her school picture tomorrow.

Crawling!

Brynn has started crawling all over the place. It's still so unreal to us how they go from not crawling to crawling in 1 day. Even though we experienced it with Kate, it's still as exciting the second time around. And, as an added bonus, you see her go from lying to sitting. I'm just a little proud. She finally is doing it! Here she is today:

Spring Concert & Hat Day & Beginning to Crawl!

We had lots of school things going on in our family today.

Today was Kate's Spring Musical at her school. It's her last one at her current school. Her class sang 3 songs and it was a Western theme so all the kids had on hats and scarves. It was adorable.

Here is Kate all ready to go to school. This is her signature pose- i can't get enough of it!

I wish I had photoshop, but if you look closely, you see orange and you can see Kate.
She is right under the "e" in the work closely above
And, today was "Hat Day" at Brynn's School! She wore her beach hat, hoping that it would bring on warmer weather.

She is so proud of herself & her hat!
xoxo love my babies!!!

Side note- Brynn is so close to crawling. Tonight she pretty much crawled. I videoed it and sent it Rich, my mom and dad, and Jane... Kate & I were freaking out we were so excited!!! She also went from laying down to sitting. Here is the video ( it is kind of long... sorry!):

Kate & Brynn meet the Philly Phanatic!

We went to McDonald's tonight because I heard the Philly Phanatic was going to be there. Rich had a golf match so it was just the girls and me. And, we met him!!!

Here he is walking in:
We waited for him to come over to us. Kate was a little hesitant, but after all, he is her favorite Phillie!
Phanatic!!
Playing with Kate
Brynn wasn't as in to him as Kate was
The girls and the Phanatic
Sitting in Brynn's stroller. Kate was having a ball. The phanatic waved at his nose like Brynn pooped and Kate was absolutely hysterical! She couldn't believe it "talked"
Here they are dancing and I even got a video of it!

Kate and the phanatic dancing! What a great night we had!!

Easter Bunny

We took the girls to see the Easter bunny in the mall. We were curious to see how Brynn would do, but she was great. Thankfully, Kate took the lead and was high fiving the bunny, dancing all around it. So, I think that helped. Brynn just sat on the bunny's lap and let us snap away!

Phillie Fan Day!

Today is Phillies Spirit Day at Brynn's school. Check out our fan!! xoxo

Dressing up

I LOVE LOVE LOVE having little girls! I love to dress them up and do their hair. I love that we get to play with Barbies & dolls. And, I LOVE that Kate calls her bathroom the girl's bathroom. She calls Rich, "the boy" and it is hysterical. There is a house we pass, near our house, and it's pink. Kate says that the girls (Kate, Brynn, Molly & me) are going to live in that house and Rich is going to hang out outside of it. lol.

Here is Brynn all set for school:

Here is Kate, doing her pose (she picked out her shoes):

As much as I love to dress them up, Kate loves to wear t shirts, sneakers and sweatshirts. She can be a tomboy one day and a girly girl the next. She's athletic, smart, funny & has the best sense of humor! I can't wait to see how Brynn is :)

Fleece Weekend

Rich had his Fantasy baseball weekend this weekend. So, I got to hang out with my 2 favorite girls and what a fun time we had!

Saturday, we had dance & swimming. After swimming, we went to the mall and walked around & then met up with our friend Katie for dinner at Friendly's. Daddy met us there for dessert so the girls were super happy.

Sunday, we went to breakfast and then went and had our pictures done for a photoshoot that benefited the Leukemia Society. I'll post those soon. After that, we came home, napped and then decorated the house for Easter. Thank goodness Kate love to decorate for the holidays, but I am pretty sure it's in her blood.

We decided to make an Easter tree again, so while I was out looking for the clear string, I came in and found this:

Kate put the bunny ears on Brynn and I was hysterical. Brynn didn't care at all. She loved them.

We got the eggs out and Brynn was obsessed with them too. Kate is counting out how many eggs we should put on the tree:
We are all set to get the eggs on the tree.
We hung the eggs and ta da! We have an egg tree. We put bunnies outside and the whole house is decorated. We are ready for Easter!
After decorating, we went to dinner at Moe's and then stopped at the park to play. We've had some "warmer" weather, so we wanted to take advantage of it. Kate was busy running and climbing, so I put Brynn in the swing, and this baby girl LOVES to swing. She laughed out loud the entire time!
My happy baby girl!
Such a great Fleece Weekend. I remember when it was just me. Then just Kate & me. And now, it's Kate, Brynn & me and we love it! Hopefully Rich got a good team- he won the league last year!! GO FLEECE!!!!
