Sleepover!

We had our 1st overnight here over the weekend!  Our nephew Bryce spent the night on Saturday and we had a great time! We had dinner at Friendly's, watched a movie, played wii, played on iPads and then woke up to go to Grammie's for Christmas with Rich's family!  What a fun night!! 

22 months old

Still can't believe that in 2 months this little guy will be 2. No more baby :( ugh. So I'm going to keep on babying him while I can. Chase had a great Christmas. He loved seeing all the Christmas, singing the songs - his favorites are frosty and Santa Claus is coming to town. He calls snoopy snoofy. And he is finally get his outter middle tooth!  Happy 22 months Chase!  Love you 

Santa 2013

We took Kate, Brynn and Chase to see Santa at the mall. They were all really excited. Chase got a little hesitant, but Santa gave him a high five and gave one to me too and he was all good!  Kate whispered what she wanted to him and Brynn told him an Ariel and Rapunzel doll. Lol. Chase just smiled for the picture and said he wanted a truck. Success!

Brynn's 1st dentist appointment

Brynn had her 1st dentist appointment on Thursday and it went great. Wasn't sure how it would go since she kept telling me she wasn't going to bite him. Lol. But she kept her mouth opened, had her teeth counted (she has all 20) and cleaned!  And flossed!  Couldn't have asked for a better appointment. She asked her hygienist why she had gloves on, why she had a mask on, why the toothbrush spun, why the chair moved. It was pretty funny. Way to go Brynn!!!

Student of the month!

Kate was chosen as student of the month for November. It was given to those students that showed responsibility. We couldn't have been prouder of Kate!  There was a little awards ceremony and she received her award and a ribbon.  We went to dinner with her friend Emily who was also chosen as student of the month!  So very proud!!!

Brynn's Grandparent's Day Celebration

Rich, Kate and I went to Brynn's grandparents Day celebration at school today. Her class sang songs and did little motions and it was just adorable. Here is our star, who by the way had this outfit picked out for weeks. She did great!  Not one tear and she stayed on the riser!  Our girl :)

21 Months old!

This guy is 21 months old today. 21 months!!!  I told him this morning, you only have 3 more months of these pictures every month. But he loves the bear and the camera so I don't think he minds too much. He's talking up a storm and trying to do things to make people laugh now. I wrote this last month but he really does have the greatest personality. He's still not eating a ton but he's so active he really doesn't want to sit to eat. I have to keep reminding myself how old he is and that this is normal. He absolutely loves to color. Loves. Colue!!  That's how he says it. And now when anyone sneezes he yells "bless you!"  Such a sweetheart. He's now telling us who does what to hi at school too. I can't believe that in 3 short months he will be 2. Ahhhhhh

American education visitation week

This week at Kate's school is American Education Visitation week. We had 45 minutes to go to her school and listen to a poetry reading by all of the children. Kate did an awesome job!!!

Hanging around

We have been pretty low key for the past few weekends. Kate is done school now until Dec 2!  Brynn and Chase have 2 1/2 days next week. I can't believe it is Thanksgiving next week!  Unreal. Here are some recent pictures of everyone.

Kate wrote this letter to Brynn (and Chase too) tonight. This makes my heart feel so full and so happy.  They really do love each other so much. 

Brynn's family project

Brynn presented her family project poster today. We took the pictures and put them on the board. She even cut some of them herself and she also put all of the stickers on. She picked out her own outfit and was so excited this morning. The note when I picked her up was hysterical. I'll post a picture of that tomorrow. So proud of this little love.

Straight hair

Kate has been asking to have her hair pulled straight.  She was off today & I took the day off & we did it!  She looks so old!!

Bee of the Week- week of October 28th

Kate's classroom theme is bees.  So, each student gets a turn to be bee of the week. On Monday, she brought in a poster that we decorated that was all about her. It included family pictures, vacations & all of her activities.  And, her friend Madison.  On Tuesday, she brought in her favorite book to read and chose a Halloween one.  On Wednesday, we wrote a letter for the teacher to read to the class.  The letter was all about how Kate was so special to us.  On Thursday, she to to pick the game for the class to play and on Friday, everyone wrote a friendship book about her.  So sweet and she loved being bee of the week!

2nd lost tooth! - October 29

Kate lost her 2nd tooth tonight. It was loose, she bit into something at school and it was really loose. I mean, really loose. So I pulled it out in the tub!  Looks like the tooth fairy will be visiting tonight!! And as she pointed out, that's 2 teeth in October!  Yay Kate!!

Happy 8th birthday Molly!-October 29

Today is Molly's 8th birthday!  We woke up, sang happy birthday and gave her a banana. We love you Molly!!!

Fall Festival

We met our friend Shelly and her son Cayden at a Fall Festival this weekend. It was very low key, but the kids all had fun seeing the animals, riding a hayride & riding the horses!

20 Months Old

Chase turned 20 months old yesterday! It is so hard to believe that Brynn was this age when we had Chase!  He is still doing great & making us smile & laugh everyday. He is developing his own personality & he is really just a joy to be around.  He didn't want to leave the sticker on his shirt for this picture, but he wanted to get his picture taken. He still doesn't eat too much, but he loves his gubbies, or gummy snacks. And pizza.  And any candy or cookie.  He says anything and everything the girls says. He runs around like crazy and jumps and climbs all over the place. Such a love bug!

Kate wore a dress and wore her hair down- must be picture day!  She looked gorgeous. And sooo old. :(.

I love how excited these guys get over their outfits and showing them off.  I thought that they looked adorable today. Brynn has worn a Halloween shirt every day last week and this week.  And we plan on Halloween outfits every day next week too!  Overboard, I know!

Carving Pumpkins

One of favorite traditions is to sit outside and carve our pumpkins. We let each child draw a picture and we carve it, except for Kate's- she does it on her own. Here we are today carving pumpkins.
