2 years Old!

Chase turned 2 yesterday!  We had a small family party for him on Sunday with a Mickey Mouse theme and he had a blast!  Yesterday when he woke up he told me it was his birthday and he is 2!  Now he has no idea what a birthday is but when your mom loves birthdays and your 2 older sisters do too, he knows to be excited for it!  We can not believe he is 2!  It feels like yesterday that we found out we were having him.  He's a talking, jumping, running, climbing, silly at times, sweet as can be 2 year old boy. He's such a blessing and he completes our family. The girls adore him and he adores them. We really are so lucky to have him and his crazy curly hair. Love you Chase! Happy Birthday Prince. 

7 Years Old!

Kate is 7! How did that happen?!?! We had an ice skating party over the weekend and family party on Sunday night.  Monday was a snow day- we got about 4-6" so no  school & Kate had a stomach bug.  Poor girl was still sick this morning too.  We decorated the house for her last night so that when she woke up it was ready for her birthday!  She reminded me to do that.  LOL.  She was so excited it was her birthday despite being sick.  We opened presents this morning- she got an Anna doll from Brynn & Chase, Justice clothes and a bike from Rich & me.  And, we skyped with Namma & Pop Pop this morning while she opened their gifts.  Kate was sung to by Uncle Scott, Aunt Pickle & the boys and her BFFs Lauren & Brian. She missed not celebrating with her friends from school, but hopefully tomorrow if there isn't an ice storm!

Kate is really into ice skating right now. She takes lessons, dance lessons and does Daisies.  She starts softball soon and she can't wait.  Her 3 BFFS are Brynn, Madison & Reagan.  Her favorite song is " You Belong with me" by Taylor Swift.  She loves reading, math and hanging with her friends. Today she pretty much played with her American Girl dolls-thanks Namma and Pop Pop. She's starting to get into the Wii & she loves to write in her journal.  She couldn't be any better of a big sister.  Chase adores her & so does Brynn. She & Brynn like to have sleepovers & they are like 2 little old ladies laughing & giggling.  Her favorite movie is Frozen.  She watches Austin & Ally, Jessie and any of the Disney shows. She is such a pleasure to be around.  She is one of the nicest little girls I know.

I am having such a hard time with her being 7.  I remember this day 7 years ago so vividly. At this exact time, I know I was holding her, staring at her thinking, I can not believe that you are mine. I still can't! Love you,  KK, Katherine, Sister Soul.  My baby girl!
