SMM ice cream social
Brynn's school had it's annual Ice cream Social on Friday night. Our Friday nights are insane this fall (Brynn has dance, Kate has dance, Kate leaves early from dance to get to soccer practice late, Brynn has swimming after dance). But, we really wanted to go and we made it. They had a DJ, sundaes, & face painting. Both girls for softballs and soccer balls :).
Happiest swimmer
Brynn is now in an hour long swimming class. It's tough work & the pool is long. She started out in the summer crying & hating lessons, but now she loves them & can't get enough. Look at how happy she is!!!
Pop Pop's buddy
While my mom is on her adventure in Asia, we have been having fun visits with Pop Pop. I'm sure once we leave him, he's ready for bed, but I know our crew loves these visits. I took Chase over on Friday morning and he asked Pop to play this cigar holder that plays the theme from the Godfather. So cute. They really are best buddies.
Chase's 1st school picture day- Sept. 23
Chase had his school picture on the 23rd. He was so excited to get dressed up for it. He is always telling us the outfits we pick out aren't cute but this time he was super excited about it. He looked so sweet. I'm sure when he's older he will roll his eyes out this outfit, but in the meantime, I'm loving it.
Family
We recently celebrated Jane's birthday (happy birthday Grammie) & her upcoming retirement. It's not often we can all get together, but we tried (missed Amy, Greg, & Matt). We had a cookout and cake and the kids all had fun playing with each other. Chase & Mason love hanging out & couldn't be cuter together.
Chase's swimming
Chase received his 1st stamp at swimming on September 19 & his 2nd stamp the next Friday, September 26! He's on a roll! He can swim assisted 25 yards and roll onto his back. He also can do backstroke on his own! Way to go Chase!!
All I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth
Sang Kate on Sept 14. Her 2nd front tooth has been loose forever and finally came out. She looks adorable with no front teeth and it was just in time for picture day, which was on Wednesday of that week!

Chase's 1st day in the trainee room
Sept. 3 was Chase's 1st day in the trainee room. He had been in there for the summer, but this is now the school year. Kate was in this same room when she started this school.
Labor Day fishing
We spent Labor Day fishing. It was so hot and we wanted to do somehinf fun so rich decided to take everyone fishing. We went to a new spot and everyone had success!
Travel soccer
We signed Kate up for travel soccer this year. She loves the sport so why not? Today was her 1st game- a double header and it was hot and tiring but the girls did great!

We joined a swim club this summer and we had the best time. We made friends, hung out with old ones, and just had a great time. We went almost every Monday night and every weekend. We hung out with our good friends who have 3 daughters and 2 are the same age as Kate and Brynn and their older daughter is a sweetheart as well. We started out in the baby pool with Chase and Brynn went back and forth. Kate was all over. We ended up with Chase in big pool and Brynn DIVING off of the diving board! We really couldn't have asked for more fun summer. Already counting down to next summer!! Here are some pics throughout the summer.

Last week of summer
Everyone was off the week of August 25. Kate had a soccer camp at the high school on Monday.

On Tuesday, we took a day trip to the beach. Just them and me! We had a great time, but missed Rich.
On Wednesday I worked and on Thursday Chase had his well visit and then we went to Longwood Gardens and played in the water area and had a picnic lunch.
On Friday, we went back down to the beach! What a fun day!!
