Halloween!

Happy Halloween!  I can't believe it's over. But, by far the best Halloween yet!  We started with pumpkin donuts, opening cards (thanks namma and pop pop) & then off to school. 

First was Chase's parade & party. He was so so about it. 

Then Chase had swim lessons. He came home & took a long nap. We got up and went to Brynn's parade. Her class had a party earlier in the day for the class only. 

And I am not a horrible mother. Kate's party and parade were for the class only. 

They all came home & we quickly got dressed, before heading to our good friends' for trick or treating. They had an absolute blast. Chase loved it this year. The first house he went to, he walked in and was like hey, I'm here. The girls had fun running from house to house. They've never experienced anything like this because we've always gone in a smaller neighborhood.  Can't wait to do it again next year. Now what to do with all this candy!!!

Brynn's 1st field trip

Brynn's preK class had their first field trip today. It was to a local orthodondist's office to see their annual play. This year they performed Frozen so Brynn was in heaven!!  She rode a school bus without a seatbelt!! And saw all her favorite characters. Probably one of the best days of her life. 

Happy 9th birthday Molly!

Molly turned 9 today. We sang happy birthday when we have her breakfast & we sang happy birthday when we have her dinner. While we may complain about her, she really is a good dog whom we love very much!  

Brynn's fall festival

Brynn's PreK class had a fall festival today. Rather than taking 40 4 year olds to a pumpkin patch, they brought the pumpkin patch to the school!  It was adorable. They built a scarecrow, played on the playground, had some yummy fall snacks, and then each child picked out a pumpkin. It was really a fun morning!

Pumpkin Patch

Our family has gone to a pumpkin patch every fall. It's our fun family tradition. On Sunday, we had no soccer!!  So, we went to the pumpkin patch. We painted pumpkins, did a hayride and walked through the pumpkin patch. The kids loved it!!

Environmental Ambassador

Brynn was picked to be her class's Environmental Ambassador. She will do the class recycling in the 3rd semester. I'm not sure if she even knew, but we were really excited. They acknowledged all the children who were picked at Mass on Friday. My Dad, Chase, & I attended mass, but Chase & I had to leave right before the ceremony. Yay Brynn!!

Halloween Treats

Blair and Kate baked up some yummy delicious pumpkin cupcakes and they were amazing. Brynn, Chase, & I got home just in time to help decorate. Thank you, Blair!  We love you!!!
