New York City!

We surprised the girls and Chase with a trip to NYC December 7. We drove into the city and went right to Central Park. We were waiting for a carriage and ran into our good friends!  How crazy is that?!?

Here are some pics of our carriage ride around the city.

After that, we went to FAO Schwartz. It was crowded but we saw a lot!

After that, we had dinner at Dylan's candy bar and it was really fun!

We finally made our way to Rockefeller Center to see the famous tree. It was beautiful!  We even saw the skaters!

We went back to our hotel and they loved it. They had fun being outside of the house.

The next morning, we got up and went to toys r us. We wanted to ride the Ferris wheel, but it wasn't open yet. So we walked around the store.

And then we went to the girls' motherland. The American girl Doll store. We had brunch reservations and the girls got their dolls' ears pierced and hair done. It was adorable!!

We had such a great trip. Hopefully we can make this an annual adventure.

Brynn's breakfast with Santa

Brynn's school does a breakfast with Santa and Chase was invited too. They had a ball & it was so fun to watch!!

Elf jammies

Every year that the elves show up they bring Kate, Brynn & Chase Christmas jammies. This year was no different except Chase had an elf show up!  He named him Batman Spider-Man.

White Thanksgiving

We got some early snow yesterday. Not a lot but enough that the ground is white. Every time it snows, I take the kids out to catch snowflakes on their tongues. They love it and so do I.

Family Volunteer Day

Every year we do a volunteer event at Rich's work. The kids love it & it's all for a good cause. Win win. This year, we concentrated on the troops abroad. Earlier in the month, they donated their Halloween candy. At the event, we did stocking for soldiers and also made garment tags for the troops. There is an organization in Delaware that accepts donated suits and gives them to the troops when they return home so that they can get an office job. These garment tags will be on the suits. So proud of these 3!

Kate's 1st Reconciliation

Kate made her 1st Reconciliation on November 22. Father Sheikey, who also baptized Chase, was her priest. She did great!  Congratulations Kate!
